WHAT:
What is this survey?
We’re collecting the unfiltered expertise of educators to create a teacher-led, data-driven blueprint for change. It’s a chance for you to document your daily realities, challenges, and solutions.
The result will be a report comprised of insights that validate the challenges you face and steer TEAL’s efforts to solve them. This is a direct act of advocacy for yourself and your colleagues.
WHY:
Why is this survey needed?
Right now, policies and resources are largely created for teachers, not by them. This leads to a disconnect that impacts your ability to teach and your students’ ability to learn.
Rebuilding trust in educators as professionals will help combat the teacher retention crisis, encourage further support for educators, and strengthen the teaching profession.
HOW:
How does this survey make change?
Your experience is the expertise. Contributing your voice helps paint a picture of the field that comes directly from teachers.
Your solutions are the strategy. You know what works, and what doesn’t, in your classroom. This survey ensures that practical, teacher-tested ideas become the foundation for better resources, support, and policy.
Your voice is unique. Whether rural or urban, public or private, kindergarten or 12th grade – your experiences are unique to your context. From first year to fifteenth, your input is crucial to our movement!
