April Thomas (M.ED, CAS, EIS) is a Certified Autism Specialist, Educational Consultant, and dedicated advocate for accessibility and neurodiversity in education. With extensive experience shaping policy,and implementing strategic initiatives centered on inclusive practices, she brings both expertise and lived insight to the role of Accessible Education Advisor.

Her work is deeply aligned with TEAL’s commitment to ensuring all programs and resources are shaped by and for disabled and neurodivergent educators. April is exceptionally positioned to guide the integration of proactive accessibility, help dismantle systemic barriers, and foster partnerships that amplify equitable voice across the educational landscape.
