Programs Director

Dr. Phillip Ryan has over 26 years of experience as a professor and instructional leader/designer at Union University. He is an expert in creating hybrid, online, and in-person instruction, having developed curricula for programs in Intercultural Studies, Applied Linguistics, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

Phillip’s research focuses on collaborative and participatory design. He brings these emphases to TEAL - ensuring that our research and initiatives remain teacher-centered.
