Teacher Advisory Council Member

Patrick Burke is a Lead 3rd/4th Grade Humanities teacher at an Washington D.C.-area charter school, and also holds an MEd in Education Policy and Leadership from the American University. His dedication to teacher advocacy and equity education represent TEAL’s most central values.

As a member of TEAL’s Teacher Advisory Council, Patrick helps ensure that our organizations trajectory and actions truly reflect a teacher-centered, teacher-led mission which involves current, active classroom educators in education development decisions.
