Brandon Barr is a bilingual middle school ELA and Social Science teacher in Chicago Public Schools, a National Board Certified Teacher, and serves as the Chicago City Representative for the Yale National Initiative. His dedication to teacher leadership aligns with TEAL's commitment to empowering educators as experts.

As a member of TEAL’s Teacher Advisory Council, Brandon helps ensure that our organization's trajectory and actions truly reflect a teacher-centered, teacher-led mission which involves current, active classroom educators in education development decisions.
